Developed for the North American online retail market, Kuza enters a highly competitive category of cutting tools and accessories with a bold ambition: to redefine standards of precision through technology, portfolio diversity and uncompromising quality control.
We supported Kuza from naming to visual identity, shaping a brand designed to cut through both wood and market noise.

Drawing inspiration from Japanese culture’s long-standing association with mastery, precision tools and refined craftsmanship, we defined a positioning rooted in performance, discipline and technological progress.


Name

Starting from the Japanese cultural reference, we wanted a name that could express the brand values while remaining easy to understand, memorable and internationally viable. After testing dozens of proposals, Kuza emerged as the final choice — short, precise and subtly influenced by Japanese phonetics.



Logo and Visual Language

The logo reflects the sharpness and reliability embedded in the brand promise. Clean, modern lines echo the precision of the tools themselves, while the carefully balanced construction suggests control and technical accuracy. The strong blue tone references both the metallic reflections of the materials used and the brand’s commitment to innovation and quality assurance. The identity system is built around dynamic, minimalist graphic elements designed to convey clarity and performance. Sharp angles, structured compositions and clean typographic hierarchy reflect the product’s technical nature while ensuring information is organised and accessible. The system supports clear differentiation across product ranges and packaging formats, maintaining coherence across a diverse portfolio.


Packaging

The master packaging system was developed to allow flexible adaptation across multiple product typologies. Bold colour blocks, strong contrast and clear technical information reinforce the brand’s online retail orientation, ensuring visibility in digital environments and consistency across formats. The design translates engineering precision into a visually sharp and scalable packaging architecture.








Web Design

To support Kuza’s online retail focus, we designed and developed the entire website as a performance-driven e-commerce platform. Built to reflect the brand’s expertise and clarity, the interface combines bold visual impact with structured product architecture, allowing users to quickly navigate categories, compare specifications and access technical information. Strong hierarchy, sharp layouts and streamlined checkout flows ensure both usability and conversion efficiency.
